The only controller for the system is a PC and communication system is simple because PLC, HMI, and Motion controller are in the platform and uses same resources and they can easily read and write each other’s variables without go out of the PC.So there is no communication protocols and their cabling-interfacing complexity. This also means that there is no matter ambient noises can affect your communication signals.
